निर्देश (46-52): अधोलिखितं गद्यांशं पठित्वा तदाधारितप्रश्नानां विकल्पात्मकोत्तरेभ्य: समीचीनमुत्तरं चिनुत। मानवजीवनस्य नास्ति कोऽप्यंशो यत्र गोभिर्नोपक्रियते। यथा माता पुत्रं रक्षति पालयति, तथैव गौरपि रक्षति पालयति दुग्धादिना। अतिसरला मुग्धा चास्या आकृति:। तृणानि चरित्वा अमृतमयं दुग्धं ददाति मानवेभ्य:। अल्पा वत्सा बलीवर्दा भूत्वा हलशकटादिषु युज्यन्ते। गावो हि श्वेता:, कृष्णा, कपिला: पीता:, कर्बुराश्चेति नैकविधा:। कृषिप्रधानस्य भारतस्य मान एव सर्वस्वम् । गोजाता वृषा हलैर्भूमिं कर्षन्ति, उर्वराञ्च कुर्वन्ति । तैरेव क्षेत्राणि सिच्यन्ते कूपेभ्यो जलमुद्धृत्य । परिपक्वं च सस्यं तैरेव संशोध्यते गृहमानीयते च । ऐहलौकिक-पारलौकिकश्रेय:साधनस्य धर्मस्य गाव: प्रधानमङ्गम्। गोदुग्ध-दधि-घृतै: पुष्टानि भवन्ति शरीराणि। आयुर्वेदशास्त्रेषु दुग्धेषु गोदुग्धमेव उत्तमद्घुष्टम्, सर्वरोगेषु गोदुग्धस्यैवोपयोग: क्रियते । गव्यं धृतं बलं ददाति । यत्र भारते पुरा दुग्धदधि-घृतानां नद्य: प्रवहन्ति स्म तत्र हा ! दुग्धदधिघृतादयो हि दुर्लभा सञ्जाता: । कथमद्य वयं बलिनो भवेम, शुष्कभोजनाशिनामस्माकं कथं दीर्घम् आयु: स्यात् । अद्यत्वे, स्वतन्त्रे देशे आशास्महे यद् गोवंशस्य रक्षा क्रियेत राष्ट्रं च समृद्धं स्यात् । पुन: शोभनानि दिनानि पश्येम। गवां सेवया लौकिकं श्रेय: लभ्यते इतीतिहास एवात्र प्रमाणाम् । को न जानाति यद्रघुवंशावतंसो राजा दिलीपो गोसेवया पुत्ररत्नं लेभे । गौतमशिष्यस्य सत्यकामस्यापि गोसेवयैव तत्त्वज्ञानं बभूव । भारतसंस्कृतिर्गां मातरं मन्यते । वस्तुत: सा मातैव । सा सर्वाण्यपि साम्येन पालयति । न केवलं गोरक्षकेभ्य एव ददाति सुखानि,अपि तु गोघातकेभ्योऽपि तथैव सुखानि वितरति । कुपुत्रो जायेत क्वचिदपि कुमाता न भवति ।
