If two force acting at a point are represented in magnitude and direction by two adjacent sides of a parallelogram, the resultant of the forces will be represented both in magnitude only/यदि किसी बिंदु पर कार्य करने वाले दो बल परिणाम और दिशा में समांतर चर्तुभज के दो आसन्न पक्षों द्वारा दर्शाए जाते हैं तो बलों के परिणाम को केवल परिणाम में दर्शाया जाएगा।
