Comprehension: Read the given passage and answer the question that follow. When we enter New York horbour, the first thing we see is the statue of Liberty. What impresses us the most is its size and magnificence. Have you ever wondered how it came to be there? the Statue of Liberty was a gift from the people of France to mark the one-hundred-years anniversary of American Independence. In 1869, sculptor Frederic Auguste Bartholdi began to plan his concept for the monument. Bartholdi chose the look of classic Greek and Roman figures. He envisioned Liberty as strong and proud figure, one who personified not only the majestic Greek Goddesses of the past, but also the working men and women of the present. Finally, in 1884, the work was finished, and 350 pieces of Liberty statue were packed into 214 crates and sent to Bedloe Island in the USA. The island was later renamed Liberty Island. Only one problem stood in the way. While the French had raised a lot of funds to build the statue, New York had not secured the funds to build its foundation. A New York newspaper implored people for donations so that money became available. It is interesting to note that 80% of the donations were less than a dollar! Finally, on 28th October 1886, Americans celebrated the unveiling of the Statue of Liberty. The Statue represents Libertas, the Roman goddess of freedom. It is 93 meters high and weights 4,50,000 pounds. Lady Liberty holds a torch and a tablet on which is inscribed the date of American independence – 4th July, 1776. The waistline of Lady Liberty measures 35 feet and her shoe size is 879! Visitor have to climb 354 steps to reach her crown. The statue of liberty served as a lighthouse for 16 year. It was the first to welcome thousands of people who came to America in search of a better life. After reading the passage which question CANNOT be answered?
