Read the passage given below and answer the question that follow:
Every-time my mother hears a tune or a song, her hands instinctively start tapping to the beats- the table, laptop or book becomes her instrument. She has been wanting to get a dholak for a long time, but I didn't understand why, and forgot about her request. I have vague memories of her playing a dholak at someone's sangeet party when I was a child, but that's about it. Therefore, I could not understand why she would possibly want this instrument after so many years.
A while ago, on vacation in a small town, my mother's desire to get a dholak was rekindled. Overjoyed at finding out that in our neighbourhood someone had a dholak, I was immediately sent to borrow it for a few days. In the evening, she sat with the dholak and started playing, humming and trying to recall tunes she used to play. Sitting on a mattress under a sloping wooden roof, with the cool mountain breeze, I saw my mother in her elements. While in her solitary moment of reminiscence, she asked me to call up her sister so that she could ask her the lyrics they used to learn and sing as children.
