परेषाम् उपकरणमेव ‘परोपकार’ इति कथ्यते। परोपकरणं मानवानामेक: सात्विक: सद्गुण: स्वीकृत:। परोपकारसद्गुणेन मानवेषु सहयोग भावना वर्धते। यदि वयं परेषां जनानां उपकारं करिष्याम: तर्हि परेऽपि अस्माकं हितं विधास्यन्ति। परस्परोपकरणेनैव अस्माकं कल्याणं भवितुं शक्यते। जन-कल्याणायैव सत्पुरुष: मनसा, वाचा, कर्मणा च परोपकाररता: दृश्यन्ते। सत्पुरुषाणां सम्पत्तय: परजीवेभ्य: एव भवन्ति। धर्मशास्त्रेषु परोपकारस्य महत्त्वं विशदरूपेण वर्णितम्। सत्परोपकारी तु स एव भवति य: स्वार्थं विहाय परेषां हितसाधने रमते। अनेकानि उदाहरणान्यपि तत्र वर्तते। महर्षि: दधीचि, रन्तिदेवं या को न जानाति। प्रकृतिरपि परोपकाररता: दृश्यन्ते। नद्य: परार्थमेव जलं वहन्ति। वृक्षा: परहितायैव फलन्ति। गाव: स्वदुग्धं परेभ्य: एवं यच्छन्ति। परोपकाररूपं सद्गुणं सदैव उपार्जयेयु:। परोपकारभावनयैव अस्माकं, अस्माकं देशस्य च कल्याणं भवितुं शक्यते। 1.सत्पुरुषाणां सम्पत्तय: भवन्ति
