In a major leadership reshuffle in India's Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF), two senior 1993-batch IPS officers have taken charge of key paramilitary organisations.
Praveer Ranjan has been appointed Director General (DG) of the Central Industrial Security Force (CISF), while Praveen Kumar has been appointed Director General of the Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP).
Both officers will assume charge on September 30, 2025, following the retirement of their predecessors.
