Poligrass Magic Skills Award

• Indian women's hockey team forward Deepika has won the prestigious Poligras Magic Skills Award.
• The award is given for her outstanding individual skills and extraordinary goals in hockey, which was decided based on the votes of hockey fans around the world.

• Deepika has become the first Indian player to win this award.
• She scored an incredible field goal against the world's top team Netherlands in the FIH Hockey Pro League in February 2025.
• India was trailing by two goals in that match, when Deepika scored this goal in the 35th minute by making a brilliant dribble from the left and breaking the Netherlands defense, which tied the match 2-2. Later India won this match in the shootout.
