Directions (Q. Nos. 1 to 5) Read the passage given below and answer the questions that follow. Be like a flower. One must try to become like a flower : open, frank, equal, generous and kind. So you know what it means? A flower is open to all that surrounds it : nature, light, the rays of the sun, the wind etc. It exerts a spontaneous influence on all that is around it. It radiates joy and beauty. It is frank. It hides nothing of its beauty lets its fragrance flow frankly out of itself. It is equal and the same for everybody. There is no difference or anything whatsoever. Then generous without reserve or restriction, it gives away the mysterious beauty and the very own perfume of nature. It sacrifices itself entirely for our pleasure, even its life sacrifices to express this beauty and the secret of the things gathered within itself. And then, kind : it has such a tenderness, it is so sweet, so close to us, so loving. Its presence fills us with joy. It is always cheerful and happy. निर्देश (प्रश्न सं. 63-68) : दिए गए गद्यांश को पढ़कर निम्नलिखित प्रश्नों के सही विकल्प छाँटिए। आदिम आर्य घुमक्कड़ ही थे। यहाँ से वहाँ वे घूमते ही रहते थे। घूमते भटकते ही वे भारत पहुँचे थे। यदि घुमक्कड़ी का बाना उन्होंने न धारण किया होता, यदि वे एक स्थान पर ही रहते, तो आज भारत में उनके वंशज न होते। भगवान बुद्ध घुमक्कड़ थे। भगवान महावीर घुमक्कड़ थे। वर्षा-ऋतु के कुछ महीनों को छोड़कर एक स्थान में रहना बुद्ध के वश का नहीं था। 35 वर्ष की आयु में उन्होंने बुद्धत्व प्राप्त किया। 35 वर्ष से 80 वर्ष की आयु तक जब उनकी मृत्यु हुई, 45 वर्ष तक वे निरंतर घूमते ही रहे। अपने आपको समाज सेवा और धर्म प्रचार में लगाये रहे। अपने शिष्यों से उन्होंने कहा था ‘चरथ भिक्खवे चारिक’ हे भिक्षुओं! घुमक्कड़ी करो यद्यपि कभी भारत के बाहर नहीं गए, किन्तु उनके शिष्यों ने उनके वचनों को सिर आँखों पर लिया और पूर्व में जापान, उत्तर में मंगोलिया, पश्चिम में मकदूनिया और दक्षिण में बाली द्वीप तक धावा मारा। श्रावण महावीर ने स्वच्छन्द विचरण के लिए अपने वस्त्रों को त्याग दिया। दिशाओं को उन्होंने अपना अम्बर बिना लिया, वैशाली में जन्म लिया, पावा में शरीर त्याग किया। जीवनपर्यन्त घूमते रहे। मानव के कल्याण के लिए मानवों के राह प्रदर्शन के लिए और शंकराचार्य बारह वर्ष की अवस्था में सन्यास लेकर कभी केरल, कभी मिथिला, कभी कश्मीर और कभी बद्रिकाश्रम में घूमते रहे। कन्याकुमारी से लेकर हिमालय तक समस्त भारत को अपना कर्मक्षेत्र समझा। सांस्कृतिक एकता के लिए, समन्वय के लिए, श्रुति धर्म की रक्षा के लिए शंकराचार्य के प्रयत्नों से ही वैदिक धर्म का उत्थान हो सका।हिन्दी गद्य-शिक्षण की पाठ-योजना में उद्देश्य कथन आता है–
