निर्देश (31-39): निम्नलिखित गद्यांश को पढ़कर पूछे गए प्रश्नों के सही। सबसे उपयुक्त उत्तर वाले विकल्प को चुनिए। एक स्कूल में आर्ट के पीरियड में टीचर ने बच्चों से कार बनाने को कहा। बच्चों ने अपनी समझ के हिसाब से रंग-बिरंगी कारें बनाई। एक बच्चे ने कार में दरवाजों के पास पंख लगा दिए और छत पर हेलिकॉप्टर जैसा बड़ा सा पंखा। टीचर ने बच्चे की ड्रॉइंग बुक में बनी हुई कार को लाल पेन से काटते हुए नोट लिखा- प्लीज, मेक अ प्रॉपर कार। माँ ने बच्चे की ड्राइंग बुक देखी तो उसे फटकार लगाते हुए कहा-कार भी कहीं उड़ती है? अगले दिन बच्चा ड्रॉइंग बुक पर एक साधारण सी कार बनाकर लाया। टीचर ने उस पर सही का निशान लगाते हुए साइन कर दिया। इस सबके बीच एक मासूम सवाल, जवाब की तलाश में भटक गया। ‘क्या कारें उड़ सकती हैं ?’ पहली नजर में साधारण सा नजर आने वाला यह किस्सा असल में एक हत्या की कहानी है। एक बच्चे की कल्पनाशीलता की हत्या। सोचिए, कला क्या है? चीजें जैसी दिखती हैं, उन्हें वैसे ही बयान कर देना या लकीरों के जरिए कागज पर उतार देना ही कला है? नहीं बिल्कुल भी नहीं। यह तो डॉक्युमेंटेशन या दस्तावेजीकरण है। चीजों को अपने नजरिए के साथ पेश करना कला है। नजरिए को शब्दों या चित्रों में उतारने के लिए कल्पनाशीलता की जरूरत होती है । यानी बिना कल्पनाशीलता के आर्ट या कला संभव ही नहीं। इसे दो शब्दों के जरिए और विस्तार से समझ्ते हैं। पहला शब्द है - फोटोग्राफ । फोटोग्राफ यानी फोटॉन (लाइट) के जरिए लाइट सेंसिटिव सरफेस पर बनने वाली तस्वीर। दूसरा शब्द है - इमेज है। यह भी लाइट से बनी हुई तस्वीर ही, पर इमेज शब्द में इमैजिनेशन भी शामिल होती है। फोटोग्राफर जब किसी तस्वीर में एंगल, रंगों और पर्सपेक्टिव के जरिए अपना इमैजिनेशन जोड़ता है तो वह इमेज बनती है। हर फोटोग्राफ, इमेज हो, ऐसा जरूरी नहीं । ‘कल्पना’ का विलोम _________ है ।

So while some people live in luxury, many have not even enough to eat and drink and wear. Again, in England to-day, thousands of people live in dreadful surroundings. There are many families of five or six persons who live in a single room; in this same room they are born and in this same room they die, because, they are too poor to afford another room. Until everyone gets his proper share of necessary and delightful things, our civilization will not be perfect.Which important feature of modern life troubles the writer most?
