निर्देश : अधोलिखितं गद्यांशं पठित्वा 116-120 प्रश्नानां विकल्पात्मकोत्तरेभ्य: उचिततमम् उत्तरं चित्वा लिखत – यत् सर्वलोकहित सम्पादने प्रभवति, सर्वस्य च जगत: सुखमावहति, समाजस्य च संरक्षणं विदधाति, तत् सत्यम्। दार्शनिकदृष्ट्या यद् वस्तु शाश्वत रूपेण स्थायि अविनश्वरं च तत् सत्यम्। यत्र देशकालादिभेदेऽपि न वैपरीत्यं परिवर्तन क्षमत्वं वा तत् सत्यमिति। तथाविध विवेचनया जगति ब्रह्मैव सत्यम् इति दर्शनविद्भि: संस्थाप्यते। अत्र दार्शनिकं सत्यं न विवक्षितम्, इति लौकिक सत्यमेव विव्रियते। यद् वस्तु येन रूपेण विद्यते, तस्य तेनैव रूपेण प्रकाशनं विवरणम् अभिधानं च सत्यम् इत्यनेनाभिप्रेतम्। धर्मस्य मूलं सत्यम्। सत्यमेव धर्म:। नहि धर्म: सत्याद् अतिरिच्यते। सत्यं ज्योति:, सत्यमेव जीवनं द्योतयति ज्वलयति च। सत्यं ब्रह्मणस्तत्त्वम्। अतएव ‘ब्रह्म सत्यं जगन्मिथ्या ’ इति वेदान्तविद्भिरुदीर्यते। ब्रह्मैव सत्यं, सत्यं च ब्रह्मात्मकम् इति सुकरं वक्तुम्। अतएव ईश्वरस्य स्वस्य निर्देशात्मके सच्चिदानन्दशब्दे सत् शब्द: प्राङ् निर्दिश्यते। छान्दोऽग्योपनिषदि बृहदारण्यकोपनिषदि च सत्यमेव ब्रह्मेति प्रतिपाद्यते तदेव च जिज्ञासितव्यम्। सत्यं ब्रह्मेति, सत्यं हयेव ब्रह्म। बृहदारण्यकोपनिषद् 5/4/2 सत्यं त्वेव विजिज्ञासितव्यम् । छान्दोग्योपनिषद् 7/16/2 ‘ब्रह्म सत्यं जगन्मिथ्या ’ – केषां उक्ति : वर्तते?
