निर्देश:–अधोलिखितं गद्यांशं पठित्वा 111-115 प्रश्नानां विकल्पात्मकोत्तरेभ्य: उचिततमम् उत्तरं चित्वा लिखत – स्त्रीणां कृते शिक्षाया: महती आवश्यकता एतस्मात् कारणात् वर्तते यत् ता एव समये प्राप्ते मातरो भवन्ति । यथा मातरो भवन्ति , तथैव सन्ततिर्भवति। यदि मातरोऽशिक्षिता: विद्याशून्या: कर्तव्यज्ञानहीनाश्च सन्ति, तर्हि पुत्रा: पुत्र्यश्च तथैवाविद्याग्रस्ता: कुशलतारहिताश्च भविष्यन्ति। यदि नार्य: शिक्षिता: सन्ति, तर्हि ता: स्वपुत्राणां पालनं रक्षणं शिक्षणादिकं च सम्यक्तया करिष्यन्ति, एवं तासां सन्तति: विद्यायुक्ता हृष्टा पुष्टा सद्गुणोपेता च भविष्यति। अतएव महानिर्वाण तन्त्रेऽप्युक्तमस्ति ‘‘कन्याऽप्येवं लालनीया शिक्षणीया प्रयत्नत:’’ विवाहे संजाते कन्या: गृहस्थाश्रमं प्रविशन्ति। यदि पुरुषो विद्वान् स्त्री च विद्याशून्या भवति तर्हि दाम्पत्यजीवनं सुखकरं न भवति। विद्यायाभावात् स्त्री स्वकीयं कर्तव्यं न जानाति, अतएव बहवो रोगा व्याधयश्च तत्र स्थानं कुर्वन्ति । अत: स्त्रीणामपि शिक्षा पुत्राणां शिक्षावदेष आवश्यकी वर्तते। स्त्रियो मातृशक्ते: प्रतीकभूता: सन्ति, अतस्तासां सदा सम्मान: करणीय:। यस्मिन् देशे समाजे च स्त्रीणामादरो भवति, स देश: समाजश्चोन्निंत प्राप्नुत:। उक्तं च मनुना – ‘‘यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवता:’’।। ‘‘यत्र नार्यस्तु पूज्यन्ते रमन्ते तत्र देवता’’ – केन उक्तमस्ति?
