Jupally Krishna Rao has been honored with the prestigious 'Grand Prize' for his contributions to world peace.
He serves as the Minister for Tourism and Culture of Telangana. This honor was conferred upon him during an international Buddhist conference held in Hyderabad.
Approximately 150 delegates and monks from 22 countries participated in this event.
He spoke about Telangana's rich Buddhist heritage, specifically mentioning historical sites such as Phanigiri, Nelakondapalli, and Nagarjuna Sagar.
