  • Security challenges have been further exacerbated by strained relations with neighboring countries, particularly Afghanistan.
  • The majority of attacks and fatalities occurred in regions such as Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Balochistan.
  • Pakistan is included among the five countries that collectively account for approximately 70% of global terrorism-related deaths.
