Indira Soura Giri Jal Vikas Scheme

  • Telangana Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy launched the Indira Soura Giri Jala Vikasam scheme.
  • The launch took place at Macharam village in Nagarkurnool district.
  • Under this scheme, solar powered pumps will be provided to tribal farmers free of cost.
  • Each pump will have a capacity of 5 to 7.5 horsepower.
  • These pumps are for irrigation of horticultural crops.
  • The pilot project was implemented on 45 acres of land.
  • 45 tribal farmers benefited from this.
